1 Aloe vera is one of the most popular herbs for treating skin disorders. Gel is most widely used preparation of aloe vera. Women use aloe vera gel prior to applying make-up as a skin moisturizer while men often apply it after shaving to rehydrate and treat cuts. Aloe vera is a natural remedy to fight against acne, boils and pimples. The anti inflammatory action reduces pimple while anti-microbial property kills bacteria. 5 Calendula (Marigold) is a garden plant in the daisy family that has anti inflammatory, anti bacterial and anti viral properties.
