The Dangers of Soy – Soy Myths Exposed:

There is a lot going on in the soy industry these days with huge marketing budgets paid for from levies  from soy farmers,  as a consumer  if you still think that it is a “Health Food”  You need to have a listen to what Dr Mercola is saying in the video below .

Unfortunately, many people who are committed to healthy lifestyles,  have been misinformed and  manipulated into believing that unfermented and processed soy products like soymilk, soy cheese, soy burgers and soy ice cream are good for them.

Personally I would not even feed soy milk to my cat,  as there are many studies which are based on sound research, that illustrate  soy’s downside.  It is the ones that demonstrate that there are  dangers posed to your health, which are never published by the soy industry. EG Genetically Modified Soy Linked to Sterility, Infant Mortality in Hamsters
Only the ones that show benefits are promoted ( Like most corporate sponsored research )  Which brings a saying to my mind ” The biggest lies remains untold”

Fermented Soy is another story,  so it would pay to learn the difference.  For centuries, Asian people have been consuming fermented soy products such as natto, tempeh, and soy sauce, and enjoying the health benefits. Fermented soy does not wreak havoc on your body like unfermented soy products do.

Dr. Joseph Mercola, an expert on natural health, reveals the dangers and side effects of soy based foods and why you should avoid soy infant formulas. For more info about soy safety, visit
