There is a mistake on your web page concerning the Physiological Benefits of Yoga in regard to yoga and strength. The page cites that the Golgi Tendon Organ works in response to stretching of the muscle. Actually, this response is handled by the Muscle Spindles, the GTO works in response to muscular tension. I do find it very interesting that Yoga practioners have been working on the theory of developing strength without bulk by inhibiting the GTO for thousands of years, however, I think that you should attempt to be as clear as possible when dealing with these issues to avoid any inconsistencies and to avoid damaging the reputation of Yoga.

Thanks, Keith Cannon
